Safe Motherhood Technical Work Group (TWG) Quarterly Meeting
PHIT joins Safe Motherhood TWG meeting on 17 April 2026 at Protea Courtyard Hotel (Sea View), contributing to national maternal health
PHIT is honoured to be invited to participate in the Ministry of Health’s Safe Motherhood Technical Working Group (TWG) a premier platform that shapes
national direction for maternal, reproductive, and child health services. As the largest
sub-technical working group under the Division of Reproductive, Maternal, and Child Health,
the TWG convenes quarterly to review progress and strengthen service delivery across the
continuum of care. Being part of this forum reflects a strong recognition of our commitment,
expertise, and growing contribution to improving health outcomes in Tanzania.
Our participation goes beyond attendance. Positioning PHIT at the centre of
national policy dialogue, where evidence meets decision-making and innovation
drives impact. Through this engagement, we contribute data-driven insights,
collaborate with leading experts and policymakers, and help shape interventions that directly
influence the quality and accessibility of maternal health services. This opportunity reinforces
our role as a trusted stakeholder—one that is aligned with national priorities and actively
contributing to sustainable, system-wide solutions.
We approach this engagement with clarity and purpose: to add value, strengthen systems,
and be part of solutions that matter. Our presence at the TWG reflects not only where we are
today, but also the impact we are committed to delivering in the future of maternal and child health
